Quality for Prolingua

Anyone can call themselves a language teacher, but how to reassure clients that they will receive a high quality, professional service?
Despite 25 years of experience, Prolingua decided to have a close look in the mirror by undergoing “quality audit” by the international consultancy Eaquals in order to help consolidate strengths and identify weaknesses of approach. They tested issues such as matching the expectations of students and the companies who paid for the courses and providing feedback on how studies are progressing. The audit also looked into the international equivalence of qualifications and staff training.

It will be two years before there is an official International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality test for language teaching, but in the mean time Eaquals offers a benchmark across 22 countries with the support of the likes of the British Council and the Goethe Institut.
They began work with Prolingua in June 2008, finally giving their seal of approval a year later.
